Gansbaai Engineering Workshop started in february 2017, after public demand and requests for metal work and it has grown with time.
Our workshop was refitted and reorganised, additional machinery and equipment was bought to serve the purpose of this current workshop and customer satisfaction on the final product.

WELDING WORKS AND WELDING MODUELS:
​
Standard MIG welding of all types of steel, including Stainless steel and aluminium.
TIG welding for stainless steel, aliminium cast iron, thin steel pipes.
​
FITTING AND TURNING:
​
The demand has grown for machinng work in metal turning, milling and we adapted for that, and many small and larger metal projects were done and regular designs and drawings are given to us to manufacture.
Work includes, but not limited to, drilling, turning,eccentirc turning (tapers) facing, cutting, trimming, skimming of parts and automotive parts.

METAL WORKS:
​
Building of various items, from braai's, built in fire places, grids, coal makers, metal bending, steel repairs, building of trailers and many other small "jobs".
​
STEEL SALES:
​
We carry a small standard range of steel,including round bar, flat bar, angle iron, channel, ect. If we do not have in stock, we order it for you and it will be here the next day.
Orders include other steels, non-ferrous metals and larger diameter solid bar, hexagon, square bar and hollow bar.

SANDBLASTING AND RECOATING:
​
We have an industiral sandblasting unit and dedicated sandblasting "chamber" for sandblasting.
Pieces of upto 6 metres in length and 3 metres in width can be done at any given time.
​
Sandblasting as follows:
​
1. Basic cleaning for respray.
2. Cleaning and propping for hot dip galvanising.
3. Extensive deep sandblasting.
​
Resprays:
​
1. We offer a total respray services on material that has been sandblasted by us.
2. Primer selection and final cover layer is the clients choice of finish colour and texture.
​
CREW:
​
The personel working in the workshop have experience in welding, metal work and all other areas of general metal and steel work.
A dedicated operator (machinist) is available for fitting and turning work.
Our office personel at the workshop offer design and pricing for various types of projects, large or small.
